Oliver's Travels

Decided to have a night away from the hostel bar. Wandered around a bit earlier (I only got up at 4pm and didn't leave the hostel til about 5:30), tried to find the Coca Museum but failed, went and had something to eat, wandered around a street market or two and now down here.

It's quite nice, totally unpretentious and maybe because it's earlyish it's just pleasantly busy. Sat at the bar, have had a bit of a chat with the English barman, otherwise just reading a book on my phone. It's nice not to feel I have to try and talk to people as I do at the hostel. Happy to have a chat with the barman or anyone else who wants but not really looking for it tonight. I had a good time the last few nights but I do kind of feel like a quiet night in all senses of the word.

Will try not to be out late and get up early tomorrow for the first time here. I am vaguely tempted to try and extend my stay by a day but I think I will try to resist. Will go over to the bus station tomorrow to ask about buses to Copacabana the day after. Kevin advised me not to bother booking a hostel there, as it's low season, but I may see if I can reserve just for my peace of mind.

Need to get another DVD burned with the photos I had done yesterday (have decided getting each copy done in a different place is a smart way to reduce the chances of both being bad) so I can post one copy home and then delete the files from my SD cards, I am low on space again and will need some free for the Lake Titicaca trip.
