Easter Island

I'd been musing over going to Easter Island almost as soon as I arrived in Chile, to 'fill in' time before I was able to go down to Tierra del Fuego. I think not. A quick look on expedia.co.uk suggests I'd be looking at about a grand for the flights now, as opposed to about £350 in late February. So I need to decide what else I'm going to do when I first get into Chile, and also plan things enough to book the Easter Island trip while it's still far enough in the future to be cheap.
